An authorized return that uses DHL Express needs the booking of a pickup appointment. This pickup appointment needs to be booked by the end-user in the Self-Service module (Advanced Customer Portal).

The end-user will have a pickup booking screen in the self-service module. In this screen, several default instructions are shown.

These instructions can be changed under settings/portal settings/portal content:

Inline help text on the get pickup times page

This instruction is shown in the first pickup screen where the end-user needs to select the pickup date

Default Title: Book and confirm your pickup appointment
Default Content: Select the date that you want to book a pickup. Attention: if a pickup is not possible on your preferred date, the next possible date will be used.

Inline help text on the confirm & submit pickup time page

This instruction is shown when DHL has returned a possible pickup date.

Default Title: Book and confirm your pickup appointment
Default Content: Check and Confirm your pick up date: Attention: perhaps another date has been used, please check if this date is convenient for you.

Pickup booked page

This instruction is shown when the pickup on the selected date has been confirmed.

Default Title: Pickup appointment successfully booked
Default Content: Your pickup appointment has been successfully booked.

Pickup booking failed page

This instruction is shown when the pickup on the selected date has failed.

Default Title: Failed to book a pickup
Default Content: An error occurred while booking your pickup, we will work to resolve this issue and email you the confirmation code as soon as possible.
