General description and purpose

By using customer profiles, every individual, whether they have an account or not, can be assigned specific tags. These tags serve as valuable tools for classifying and organising your customer base.

Each customer's email address within the contact information associated with an order will serve as the unique identifier for that customer.

Whenever a new return request is submitted, the customer profile will undergo recalculation based on the provided input value.

Manage customer profiles

Overview of all profiles

When you access the customer profiles settings, you will be presented with an overview of the configured customer profiles.

Following the initial setup, default profiles are automatically generated, as detailed in the "Default Profiles" section.

You have the flexibility to modify or delete any of the created profiles.

To update a profile, simply use the same fields as when creating a new one, as outlined in the "Create New Profile" section.

To remove a profile, utilise the delete option. Keep in mind that this action will result in the disconnection of all tagged customers from the deleted profile.

Create new profile

To create a new customer profile, begin by providing a name and a description.

To activate a profile, simply tick the corresponding checkbox.

You can proceed by entering the values below to define the profile.

  • Minimum amount of returns by the customer: The system tallies all requested returns within the designated time frame (refer to the "Further Settings" chapter). If a customer's return count matches or exceeds the entered value, that customer will be assigned the specified profile.

  • Greater than product returned percentage:

  • Lower than product returned percentage:

Default profiles

The profiles below will be created by default.

Normal returner

Minimum amount of returns submitted by this customer: 5

Regular returner

Minimum amount of returns submitted by this customer: 10

Serial returner

Minimum amount of returns submitted by this customer: 20

The default profiles remain inactive by default. To enable them, please mark the checkbox that reads "Automatically assign this profile to customers when they submit a new return."

Further settings

To ensure accurate calculation and the appropriate assignment of the most suitable profile to each customer, you can define a time period. The following options are at your disposal:

  • 1 month

  • 3 month

  • 6 month

  • 12 month

  • 24 month

  • unlimited

If you opt for a monthly value, the profile calculation encompasses all requested returns from the present moment to the specified number of months in the past.

To include all requested returns without limitations, select the "unlimited" option.

You can configure this time period within the general parameters at the account level.
